The NCCG relies on the generosity of our donors whose ongoing support allows us to develop and deliver services independently and with a focus on quality and compassion
Donated funds are used to:
Fund capital projects; for example, we are hoping to find a permanent home for ‘A Friend’s Place’ in Sydney.
Provide scholarships for people training to work with bereaved children.
Fund publication of the Centre’s books about grief.
Fund publication of other audio visual resources produced by the Centre.
Pay for secretarial support.
Meet the cost of a part-time volunteer Coordinator.
Contribute to the cost of engaging specialist counsellors.
If you would like to donate supplies for A Friend’s Place or our counselling centre; items such as fresh flowers, snacks, tissues, disposable cups, cutlery and play items are all welcome.
To donate goods, please contact us on 1300 654 556 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more detailed information.
There are two levels of volunteers as detailed below. Unfortunately, we do not provide ‘placements’ for students training in other organisations. All volunteers must have “working with children” certification.
These volunteers take the role of Support Workers in our children’s support groups. They must complete the following three day courses; ‘Core Course In Bereavement Counselling’ and ‘Working With Bereaved Children’. For more information call 1300 654-556 or email us.Contact Us
Volunteers can also be involved with work behind the scenes, such as craft preparation, simple sewing, crafts, quilting and organising our craft centre. For more information call 1300 654-556 or email us.Contact Us
We have enjoyed support from a number of corporate partnerships over many years. This support varies from donation of goods to capital funding for training programs.
We’re open to forming new corporate partnerships. For more information or to discuss how our organisations can work together, please email Racquel at email@example.com
