Contrary to previously held views, we now know that children grieve significant losses in their lives just as intensely as adults and we are here to help.
The NCCG provides, through its programs, a safe environment where bereaved children and their families can be encouraged to share their experiences.

Our counselling centre, ‘A Friend’s Place’, is temporarily closed for the protection of our staff and clients during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, we are still operating online, providing video, email and phone support where possible. Please contact our office as usual on 1300 654 556 and we will organise an appointment for you, or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware that as a result of these changed circumstances, there may be some interruptions to our services, but rest assured that we are striving to continue to support as many bereaved children and their families as we can.
If you need urgent help, please call emergency services on 000. If you need to speak with someone urgently, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or visit www.lifeline.org.au.
