Bereavement counselling is a specialist field and as such requires the appropriate qualifications, including a post-graduate level of training, in order to work with bereaved children and adults. To ensure duty of care, we therefore do not provide ‘placements’ for students training in other organisations.

To keep our bereavement care centre, ‘A Friend’s Place’, warm and inviting for our children and their families, volunteers can be involved with work behind the scenes, such as gardening, maintenance tasks, craft preparation, cleaning and organising of our craft centre. We also welcome opportunities for Staff Engagement with organisations. For more information call 1300 654 556 or email us.
